Ría’s Home Rí-Vamp: Our Bedroom Rí-Veal
Despite nationwide shipping delays this year, we finally received all of our gorgeous furniture and finished the final touches on our bedroom! If you remember our intro blog from the Ri-Vamp series (which you can read here), instead of this space being my oasis, it was the furthest thing from it! In classic mom fashion, I had let my space come last on the priority list. But, not anymore! Conner and I finally have a cozy space of our own we can retreat to at the end of the day and snuggle up with a glass of wine to watch our favorite shows.

LULU AND GEORGIA
My partners at Lulu and Georgia blessed us with the most gorgeous furniture to elevate our bedroom space. It’s unreal how much I love these pieces and how much of a difference they each make. They really ground our space and make our room feel cozier.
THE BED
This bed is so stunning! The leather and wrought iron mix give it a masculine feel, while also accentuating our warm, cozy room vibe. I was so excited when our Interior Designer, @kirstenlileinteriors found this gorgeous piece. It has been the best feeling to curl up into bed at night with Conner and be able to enjoy the tall headboard binge Netflix and finish our glasses of wine.
THE DRESSER
Instead of standard bedside tables, we opted for these gorgeous Lulu and Georgia dressers that double as nightstands. They are the perfect size to hold our accessories and folded clothes. The deep drawers provided us with enough additional storage space to allow us to get rid of our old (and I mean OLD) dresser that had to have moleskin on the drawers just to get it to shut properly. I’m also in LOVE with my jewelry drawer. These stackable jewelry trays make the perfect system for me to store my necklaces, bracelets, and rings without them tangling or getting lost.
Big Ass Fans really came through with an amazing product! This fan has a lot of power behind it. It cools off the room so quickly and keeps us at the perfect temperature while we sleep — like I said, Conner sleeps HOT, so we need it! It also has motion sensors that turn the fan off when no one is in the room, so we can save energy. The remote is the best part! The light and fan can both be set to timers, the fan can flush stagnant air out of the room with a “whoosh,” and the light dimming feature is great for when we want to relax in the evening before going to bed.
OTHER DECOR PIECES
THE FULL-LENGTH MIRROR SAGA
Shipping has been CRAZY this year! One of our many delays had to do with our full-length mirror. We found the PERFECT arched, gold leaf, 86” x 52” floor mirror. First, it got lost… like literally they lost it at sea and they couldn’t find the ship. Then, they found it, but they couldn't give us an estimated date of arrival for about a month and a half. Finally, we get a call from the receiving dock and they let us know it was SHATTERED — completely ruined. They wouldn’t even deliver it because there was no point 😭. We needed a quick fix to complete our room, so we got a smaller floor-length mirror from Home Depot — definitely a beautiful piece. However, I am DYING to have my oversized arched mirror, so plan to see an update in the future!
THE BOARD & BATTEN
Our primary bedroom received a major DIY facelift courtesy of Conner @saffordsays and our brother-in-law, Ryan. Even Jack pitched in!
This custom-built board & batten wall is everything I could have ever dreamed of and more! It made the room feel bigger, and to make it the ultimate statement piece, we decided to paint it using Sherwin William’s Peppercorn. It turned our bedroom into the luxury oasis I’ve always wanted, elevating the space and taking our RíVamp to a whole other level.

BOLL & BRANCH
Boll & Branch’s heirloom quality sheets and soft, luxurious layers will definitely keep us warm and cozy this season. The Signature sheet set has such a soft texture, and is 100% organic cotton, so it keeps us warm, but it’s still so breathable. Conner is a hot sleeper, and he’s noticed how much cooler he stays throughout the night. The Signature duvet set and waffle bed blanket are perfect for layering our bedding. They not only feel great, but also look so sophisticated in here with all my new bedroom updates.
